EAH teamed with CORE Development, Inc. in the development and construction of Vista Park, and in 1998, the property opened its doors to seniors (age 55 and older). The property consists of two separate buildings: Vista Park I and Vista Park II. Each community is located in a three-story building and both offer a combined total of 164 one-bedroom apartment homes, which are approximately 550 sq. feet in size. Each apartment offers a bright and functional kitchen, neutral color floor and window coverings, and air conditioning.
The facilities and services available at Vista Park help to create a real sense of community for its residents by providing opportunities to socialize and enjoy EAH-sponsored events. Some of the core amenities available to residents include a community room with full kitchen, a library, a Computer Learning Center (complete with instructor), a TV lounge, and a nicely landscaped courtyard. An EAH Social Service Coordinator is available for the well-being of Vista Park residents, providing opportunities for frequent social events and group outings.
Vista Park is conveniently located. A supermarket, bank, drugstore, restaurants, post office, and a variety of other specialty shops are within close walking distance. Public transportation is available directly in front of the property, and Highway 87 is less than five minutes away.
