find things by using categories

As you may have noticed, having categories makes it easier to find things about a subject.

When you need to make a conclusion about a subject, you can make finding things about the subject easier if you create some categories first. One way to create categories is to use a method that journalists use when they are working on an article. To find the information they need, journalists ask these questions:

In Activity Two, the categories breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks all have to do with when food is eaten. Different categories could have been created based on what: meats, grains, fruits, vegetables. Or on how: fried, boiled, baked, raw.

The whole point is to provide yourself with enough categories before you start so that you have lots of hints to help make finding things easy.
